Free and Pro
What the free plan covers, what Pro adds, and what happens if you downgrade.
Somix Related Products has a free plan and a paid one. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify: charges appear on your normal Shopify invoice, we never see a card, and you can change or cancel from your admin without contacting us.
What Free covers
One widget, and it is a real one: a recommendations widget on your product page, with every Shopify-side source, exclusions, your theme’s colours, and the full analytics. The free plan is meant to be lived on, not to be a trial that stops working.
What Pro adds
- As many widgets as you want
- The Buy together layout, and the bundle discount
- Widgets on the cart
- Choosing products yourself, and rules that keep picks current
- Full control over every colour
- Hiding prices from shoppers who are not signed in
- Hiding the small Somix credit under the widget
- Priority support
Changing plan
Open Plan in the app and press the button through to Shopify’s own plan page. Somix does not run its own checkout, which is why there is no pricing table inside the app to get out of date.
If you downgrade
Nothing is deleted. Widgets you can no longer use are switched off and kept, and the colours you chose while paying stay stored rather than reverting. Upgrade again and everything is where you left it.
